NH00 blade fuses (commonly known as NH fuses or DIN fuses) are used in industrial facilities and electrical panels to provide protection against high short-circuit currents. The abbreviation "NH" stands for the German "Niederspannungs-Hochleistungs" (Low Voltage - High Performance).
Size: 00 (Standard width, slightly thicker than the "000" series).
Current Range: Generally available from 6A to 160A.
Breaking Capacity: Very high (typically around 120 kA), meaning it can safely interrupt large short-circuit currents.
Body Material: Made of heat and pressure-resistant steatite (ceramic).
gG / gL: General purpose. Provides both cable and line protection (the most common type).
aM: Motor protection. Delayed to withstand the high inrush current during motor startup.
aR / gR: Semiconductor protection (high-speed fuse). Reacts very quickly to protect electronic devices.
