The IO214-O, IO214-O-IS Addressable Conventional Output Controllable Siren Control Module is designed to connect conventional devices to a fire alarm system
or to trigger system-connected sirens in the event of an alarm.
All modules are certified according to the European standard EN54 (EN54-18 for the output module, EN54-17 for the short-circuit isolator).
The IO214-O or IO214-O-IS is used to include conventional devices in an addressable system.
Each can operate up to 32 conventional devices and allows additional devices to be added to the system with just one address.
The IO214-O or IO214-O-IS can be used as both a conventional input and a supervised siren output.
Using the RB1201 address programmer, it can be programmed as an input-only, output-only, or both input and output module.
Depending on the desired scenario, the output can be assigned to IO214-O or IO214-O-IS.
Based on this assignment, a siren or any other device powered by 24V can be controlled.
Each module in the IO214-XX module series can be manufactured with or without an internal isolator.
