A multimeter is a device used to perform multiple electrical measurements, including voltage, current, and resistance. It can also be used for measurements such as checking for short circuits.
While an ammeter measures current, a voltmeter measures voltage, and an ohmmeter measures resistance, a multimeter can perform all three measurements.
The multimeter measures and calculates current and voltage values for 3 phases in True RMS format. Along with these quantities, it also measures frequency and displays the measured values on the screen. Optionally, it can also measure and display ground voltage.
Current transformer and voltage transformer settings can be adjusted via the menu.
In versions with output capability, it can provide output according to the current and voltage value ranges set via the menu. Thanks to its new power supply design, the multimeter does not require a separate power input. The device can operate as long as there is power in any voltage phase (85-265 Volts).
