Optical Reader

It is designed to enable information exchange between electronic devices communicating with the optical reader using the IEC1107 (IEC62056-21) protocol.

GPRS or Ethernet-based modems used for communication with meters are used to read data from the meters.

The optical reader is attached to the metal surface of the optical sensor of the electricity meter with the arrow on the label pointing upwards.

GSM Antennas

These are high-gain antennas with expandable cable lengths, used to improve signal strength and quality in environments with weak GSM signal strength.
